Four hours credit. Theory, operation, diagnosis and repair of basic engine dynamics, ignition systems and fuel delivery systems. Use of basic engine performance diagnostic equipment. May be taught manufacturer specific. Utilizing appropriate safety measures, the student will explain engine dynamics; diagnose and repair ignition system and fuel delivery systems and demonstrate the proper use of basic engine performance diagnostic equipment. Prerequisite/co-requisite: AUMT 1407. Two lecture and six lab hours each week. Lab fee.
