Four hours credit. Instruction in wiring methods used for single family, two family, and multi-family dwellings. The student will compute the circuit size needed for the installation of branch circuits, feeders, and service entrance conductors; explain the proper installation of wiring devices according to electrical codes; demonstrate grounding methods; install ground fault circuits; and identify residential wiring methods. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
