Four hours credit. Theory and operation of automotive suspension and steering systems including tire and wheel problem diagnosis, component repair, and alignment procedures. May be taught manufacturer specific. Utilizing appropriate safety measures, the student will identify and diagnose system components; repair or replace system components; perform two and four wheel alignment procedures; and perform tire service and repair. Prerequisites or concurrent enrollment in: MATH 0310 and REDG 0310. Two lecture and six lab hours each week. Lab fee.
