Four hours credit. In-depth coverage of fuel injector pumps and injection systems with emphasis on operation and fuel flow. The student will identify various components of injector pumps and injectors as well as the components of the complete fuel system. Evaluation of injector pumps and injectors will be accomplished by the student using special tools for inspection and testing. Prerequisites or concurrent enrollment in: MATH 0310 and REDG 0310. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
