Four hours credit. Architectural drafting procedures, practices, and symbols, including preparation of detailed working drawings for residential structures with emphasis on light frame construction methods. The student will demonstrate a general understanding of architectural terms, symbols, use of residential construction materials and processes, and knowledge of reference materials. The student will demonstrate the ability to produce a set of residential construction drawings to include: site plan, floor plan, elevations, wall sections, schedules, details, and foundation plan. Two lecture and four lab hours each week. Prerequisite: DFTG 1409. Lab fee.
