Four hours credit. Designed for students going into the workforce as CNC operators, manual machinists, tool designers, or heat treat operators. Topics include properties of metals and heat treatment of metals. The student will identify chemical, mechanical, and physical properties or procedures to change the properties of the metal. Prerequisites or concurrent enrollment in: MATH 0310 and REDG 0310. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
