Three hours credit. The study of the theories and processes involved in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. The student will specify abnormal behavior and its modification; discuss the multiaxial system of diagnosis from the universal diagnostic classifications codes, and determine the correct diagnosis given a vignette. Prerequisite: DAAC 1319 or PMHS 1301. Three lecture hours each week.
