Four hours credit. A study of the characteristics, operations, stabilization, testing, and feedback techniques of linear integrated circuits. Application in computation, measurements, instrumentation, and active filtering. The student will identify and analyze linear integrated circuits including operational amplifiers; construct, measure, and troubleshoot circuits containing linear integrated circuits; and describe the pin out of any given operational amplifier by referring to the spec sheet and the operation of a one shot multivibrator. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Prerequisites: CETT 1405. Lab fee.
