Four hours credit. A study of the fundamentals of direct current including Ohm's law, Kirchoff's laws and circuitanalysis techniques. Emphasis is on circuit analysis of resistive networks and DC measurements. The student will analyze DC circuits from the simple to the complex; construct and make measurements of DC circuits from the simple to the complex; repeat by memory the resistor color code; and identify a resistor by its electronic symbol. Prerequisite: TECM 1341 or MATH 1314. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
