Three hours credit. Enhancement of interpreting skills and discourse analysis to increasingly complex tasks utilizing simulated interpreting experiences via multimedia materials. Emphasis on skill analysis and peer evaluation. The student will enhance ability to produce dynamic equivalence in interpretations, perform skills as they apply to process time, text/discourse analysis, and various other techniques; and demonstrate skills necessary for self and peer evaluation. Prerequisite: SLNG 2301. Three lecture and one lab hour each week.
