Four hours credit. Operation of drills, milling machines, lathes, and power saws. Introduction to precision measuring techniques. The student will use shop machine tools and measuring tools; use shop machinery and tools in a safe manner; and use precision measuring instruments to defined tolerances. Prerequisite: MCHN 1441. Two lecture and four lab hours each week. Lab fee.
