Three hours credit. Basic concepts of business organizations with emphasis on the paralegal's role. Topics include law of agency, sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, and other emerging business entities. The student will correctly use terminology relating to business organizations; locate and analyze sources of law relating to business organizations; evaluate the role and ethical obligations of the paralegal relating to the formation, operation, and termination of the various business entities; and draft documents required for the formation, operation, and termination of business entities. Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in LGLA 1307. Three lecture hours each week.
