Prerequisite: READ 0302 (R2); ENGL 0302 (W3); MATH 0304 (M3), and enrollment in the Radiologic Health Sciences Program. This course includes medical terminology, an introduction to the health care team, and ethical and legal issues for health care professionals. Patient assessment, transport procedures, infection control procedures, emergency and safety procedures, communication and patient interactions skills, and phlebotomy and injection procedures.
