Prerequisite: READ 0302 (R2); ENGL 0302 (W3); Corequisite: RADT 2303, RADT 2366 A continuation of Dosimetry I, this course presents the principles, aims, and techniques of applying ionizing radiation to the human body. Topics include applications of radiotherapy equipment with emphasis on treatment planning and dose calculations. The physical aspects and properties of ionizing radiation are discussed.
