Prerequisite: READ 0302 (R2); ENGL 0302 (W3); MATH 0303 (M2); and enrollment in the Surgical Technology program and successful completion of first and second semester courses. Corequisites: SRGT 2660, and SRGT 1244 Introduction to surgical pathology and its relationship to surgical procedures. Emphasis on surgical procedures related to the thoracic, peripheral vascular, plastic/reconstructive, opthamology, burns, EENT, cardiac, and neurological surgical specialties incorporating instruments, equipment, and supplies required for safe patient care.
