3 hours Prequisites: None but ARAB 1001 strongly recommended. This is an elementary course with emphasis on developing listening, speaking, and reading skills of the Arabic Language. This course will continue in building on the already acquired skills from ARAB 1001. There will be stress placed upon the acquisition of practical vocabulary, which is relevant to day to day life in the Arabic-speaking world. An accent will also be placed upon listening exercises and regular dictations. Course includes video materials and stresses communication in formal and spoken Arabic.
