3 hours This course is designed to introduce the beginning student to the language and method of philosophical discourse. It covers major, traditional ethical theories in both Western and Non-Western Philosophy. Some of the theories covered may include, but are not limited to, Virtue Ethics, Utilitarianism, Kantian Ethics, Hindu Dharma, Confucian Ethics, Buddhist Ethics, and Islamic Ethics.
