3 hours Prerequisites: Spanish 2001 and 2002, or departmental permission. An advanced language course designed to increase the student's overall mastery of the language. This course utilizes a holistic approach that encourages the balanced development of all skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with sound knowledge of advanced grammatical principles. Class discussion and activities as well as written assignments are based on topics of current interest researched by students, literary selections, film, and the mass media.
