Prerequisite: Declared biology major or permission of instructor. Independent readings from selected literature in genetics, evolution, ecology or other areas of biology. This course will be an independent study under the supervision of a member of the biology faculty. Written reports and discussion of the assigned reading will be required. This course will not replace a required science sequence but may be used for science elective in some programs of study. 1 hour. May be repeated up to 4 hours.
