Topics will include: History and legislation affecting individuals with disabilities; and persons from other at-risk groups; rehabilitation terminology and concepts; philosophical foundations of rehabilitation; ethical standards for rehabilitation counselors; expert testimony; attitudinal and environmental barriers faced by individuals with disabilities; and the various fields of rehabilitation.
