This course focuses on teaching/learning theo-ries, the analysis of various teaching strategies, and role development of the nurse educator. application of the basic components of instruction in both classroom and clinical settings and methods to meet the learning needs of diverse populations in both classroom and clinical settings will be addressed. NSg 622 (3 hours) Curriculum Development, Assessment, and Evaluation in Nursing Education Prerequisite: Core Course or consent of instructor and ad visor. This course focuses on the curriculum development process, including analysis of the internal and external environment, professional standards and trends, current philosophical approaches, curriculum and course design methods, and curriculum implementation and evaluation.
