This course examines that body of law which governs the operation of the criminal justice system from arrest to the imposition of sentence. Particular emphasis is placed on current rulings applying the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments. May be taken by non-majors. Note: It is recommended that only those students who have completed their lower division course work take the following upper division courses.
