Prerequisite: MTH100 with a "C" or better, or 25 MAPSalgebra and 21 MAPSarithmetic, 21 ACT composite, or 500 SAT math. Technology is utilized extensively in this course. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, rational, and piecewise defined functions, their graphics and applications. Other topics include function algebra, inequalities and systems equations. TI82/83 graphics calculator required. MTH150 Pre-Calculus (3 hours) Prerequisite: College Prep High School Algebra or consent of the instructor. Technology is utilized extensively in this course. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, rational, and piecewise functions, their graphics and applications, as well as the study of circular and trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities and applications of those functions. TI82/83 graphics calculator required.
