Prerequisite: Completion of one semester (12 hours) of Rehabilitation Counseling course work, or permission of instructor/advisor. Application for approval of the Practicum site occurs in the semester prior to enrollment in this course and is facilitated by the Practicum instructor, and the student's advisor. This course provides a supervised experience in a rehabilitation setting and an opportunity for the student to explore a specialization in the rehabilitation field. The course requires a minimum of 100 clock hours within the work setting and a weekly supervision meeting with the instructor.
