CIP 2304015112 Process-oriented instruction in written composition accompanied by rhetorical analysis of required prose readings, instruction in research methods, MLA documentation, and the use of personal computers in a writing lab. Students write a series of papers demonstrating competencies in expository and argumentative strategies including, but not limited to, narration, description, causal analysis, comparison/ contrast. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab) Prerequisite: Satisfactory score on placement test battery. Required skill level: College level reading and writing.
