CIP 4103010003 Study of the interrelation of process equipment and process systems including related scientific principles. Laboratory exercises include operating small plants representing the following unit operations: distillation, extraction, demineralization, reactors, and waste treatment. (4 SCH, 3 lecture, 4 lab) Prerequisite: PTAC 1410 and a grade of C or better in either high school chemistry or CHEM 1405. Required skill level: College level reading, writing and math.
