Prerequisite: Acceptance in the Biotechnology program This course will cover ethical considerations in research. A combination of lectures and discussion sessions will be utilized to emphasize the importance of ethical behavior in the research work force. Topics will include the use of animals and humans in research, scientific misconduct, handling of scientific data, sharing of data and materials and authorship of publication.
