This course is an introduction to the marketing structure as it exists and functions. Emphasis will be placed on the managers' and consumers' influence in marketing functions as they relate to themarketing mix: product, price, promotion and distribution. The product, packaging and branding, industrial and consumer products, consumer behavior, pricing policy, channels of distribution, product planning and development, strategies, and legal issues are also discussed.
