A continuation of Music 131. Application of the techniques and technology involved in modern multitrack recording and mixing. Topics covered will include mixing console features, advanced microphone technique, effect processors, production session procedures and "MIDI" studios.Extensive "hands-on" experience. Materials can also be applied to home recording and "projectstudios. Prerequisite: Music 131 or permission of the instructor. Students will be required to do an internship.
