This course is designed to improve basic mathematical skills. Topics include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of real numbers, decimals, and fractions. Other topics will include exponents, ratios, proportions and percents. Arithmetical manipulative skills will be emphasized. All topics will be related to everyday activities. (May not be used as a liberal arts requirement or counted toward credits required for graduation). A grade of at least a "C" is required. Studentsrequired to take this course must complete the course by the end of their second semester.
