This course provides students with an overview of the five educational outcomes expected of all Hodges University graduates: Critical Thinking, Effective Communication, Initiative, Leadership Ability, and Research Ability. Students will be introduced to the Blackboard Learning SystemTM, library resources, APA format, as well as the Academic Honesty Policy and the Writing and Oral Communication requirements of the University. Students seeking a bachelor's degree are required to take this course their first semester with the University. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
