A course aimed at introducing students to the world of the start-up enterprise and the nuances of working for themselves through the art of entrepreneurship and all that the term entails. The one word synonymous with being self-employed is risk-taking. This will be discussed at length via case analysis of many successful entrepreneurs such as Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Coco Chanel, J. Paul Getty, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Mary Kay, Berry Gordy, Walt Disney, Martha Stewart, Michael Dell, and Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump. Prerequisites: GEB1012
