This course challenges the student’s critical thinking and scientific reasoning methods regarding the grand questions associated with the formation of the universe. Topics include the history of cosmology, physics fundamentals applied to cosmology, lives of stars and galaxies, the structure of the universe, special and general theories of relativity, time, the Big Bang, and models of the universe.
