A study of biological variation at the molecular level of DNA, at the organismal level via the phenotypic analysis of families, and at the population level concerning the genetics of whole populations of individuals. These topics will be covered through the problem-solving approach. Three hours of lecture and four hours of lab per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 0101, 0102, and 0217 and co-requisite: CHEM 0102 or consent of instructor.
