Deals with a description and analysis of a wide range of “deviant” behavior. Emphasis is on social, psychological, and sociocultural explanations of deviant behavior, including prostitution, crime, drug addiction, and elite crimes. Societal perceptions of homosexuality and mental illness will also be examined. Prerequisite: SOC 010 1 GE: Behavioral Sciences
