Several articles are researched, written, and revised. Students also read published examples of the form in magazines such as The New Yorker and The New York Times Sunday Magazine. Book-length examples of new nonfiction such as Tom Wolfe’s The Right Stuff are also appropriate reading. Class periods consist of discussion of the reading and critiques of student articles.
