4 CREDIT HOURS Students examine the merchandising process in terms of its methodology and plans. The course covers the study of product development from concept to consumer. It also explores the strategic planning process developing store plans, product plans, store assortment plans, space plans, and allocation plans. Product Lifecycle Planning enables the student to apply the necessary strategies to turn the fashion/retail organization into a competitive and profitable business. Prerequisite: CIS120, MKT220, FAS250
