Description:
Introduction to alternative glass forming techniques using different types of glass, including glass sheet, frit, powder, and cullet as material. There will be demonstrations and exercises on glass cutting, drawing with glass powder, fusing, slumping, and mold making for slumping and kiln-casting. Prerequisite: C or better in AD 214 or consent of instructor. Studio fee: $100.
