1 credit. Every semester Covers the various aspects of both skin and scuba diving and prepares students for PADI certification, including getting ready for the deep dive requirement. Upon completion of the course, students can make arrangements for the deep dive and PADI certification with the instructor. Prerequisite: Ability to swim 200 yards without stopping and tread water for 10 minutes; must be medically fit for scuba diving
