The course begins by reviewing some feminist theoretical perspectives on technology in general, then considers the use of computers at work, looking at women as both users and creators of computer technology. Leisure uses of computers, from video games to online chat, are also examined. Also offered as WOM 3800. Prerequisite: SOC 1500
