3 hours. Independent study/research on special projects, as designed by the student and advisor. Course may be repeated with a maximum of three hours credit. Prerequisite: approval of student’s advisor and Department Chairperson. *Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. **Teacher education courses for students enrolled prior to fall 2000. 1Before placement will be considered, students must have completed Physical Education 390, an approved program of study, and/or received consent of the Exercise Science Internship Director. Placement of interns or practicum participants is conditional on the availability of internships and the University assumes no absolute responsibility to place each and every student in an internship or practicum.
