This course is open to guitarists who have an interest in performing a variety of ensemble literature with a primary emphasis on classical music from the Renaissance through the 20th century. The ensemble’s repertoire may also include popular, blues & jazz styles. Minimum requirements for this class include: permanent access to a classic guitar, ability to read staff notation in fi rst position including dotted rhythms and availability to perform one public performance each semester. This ensemble meets on a regular rehearsal schedule under faculty direction. PR: Permission of instructor.
