Using data from archaeology, hieroglyphs, and cultural anthropology, this course provides a dynamic portrait of the way of life of ancient Egypt. It also sheds light on changing attitudes towards Egypt and explains our fascination with this ancient culture through the centuries. Illustrated with slides and films, this course requires field trips to museum collections.
