This course is primarily intended for non-Computer Science majors. It will consist of a lecture component and computer instruction (Lab) component. The computer instruction (Lab) objectives are designed to provide the student with practical skills in using Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 (Word 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003 and Access 2003) software. Through the Lecture component, the student will acquire a basic understanding of data processing and computer system concepts, focusing primarily on microcomputer hardware and software.
