Students will develop a database application using the relational model and DBMS. Special emphasis in understanding the steps involved in designing a database and using a relational model to implement the design. Th e design implementation starts from the conceptual design to the implementation of a database schema and user interfaces to the database. Students will use a commercial database management system, the database query language SQL. Prereq: CIS 510 or equivalent 4 cr.
