This course introduces the art of the landscape using varied media: painting, drawing, collage, and others. The course takes students through the beginning process of choosing specific locations and responding to them using both traditional representational techniques and more contemporary methods of expression. Prerequisites: VA 1770, VA 1800 and 2000-level VA studio course.
