Designed for CHSC majors only, this course examines the relationship between an organization’s resources and its mission. Topics include capital and operating budget concepts, government versus private sector budget processes, and developing and analyzing budgets so as to produce spending plans that are compatible with the organization’s philosophy, goals and financial state. Prerequisite: ECON115, MATH116 or with approval of Program Director. 3 sem. hrs., 3 crs.
