This course is designed to enhance new students’ success by facilitating their academic, social, and personal adjustment to the college community. Emphasis will be on small group discussions, activities, and journal writings. Topics to be included are: study skills, career planning, drug and alcohol awareness, cultural diversity, overall wellness, and an awareness of the campus, its culture, history, and resources. This course is intended for first-semester freshmen and may not be repeated.
