An exploration of theories and empirical findings in the areas of sensation and perception. Topics covered include: psychophysics, basic visual processes, color vision, form perception, depth perception, movement perception, basic auditory processes, auditory perception and other senses. Prerequisite: BI106A or consent of the instructor. Co-requisite: PS 210A. Satisfies the social science distribution requirement. Three lecture hours and one laboratory period a week.
