This course explores the basic design elements of: space, surface, point, line, shape, form, color, texture, and pattern in the context of three dimensions. This is a hands-on studio experience with projects that consist of preliminary studies as well as “finished” works. Each project includes thumbnailsketches, rough examples, library research and a class critique. Each student will receive a project point evaluation sheet after the completion of a project. Three hours a week.
